E qui scambiamo parole di ammirazione per la grande Sophia Grojsman , Nostra Signora dei fioriti aldeidati, Regina indiscussa della Femminilità dal Sillage Importante (White Linen, Vanderbilt, Yvresse, Calyx, Paris, Tresor, Eternity), che in quel momento è in vacanza e che Monsieur potrebbe raggiungere con una telefonata. Sono tentata di chiederlo, mi piacerebbe poterle dire dal vivo quanto ammiro il suo lavoro. Lo sentirebbe che sono emozionata, perché uno dei miei primi desideri profumati, tra l‘infanzia e l’adolescenza fu il suo White Linen, perché mia madre ha portato per anni il suo Paris, perché il primo profumo che mi venne regalato da un uomo (beh, un ragazzo) fu il suo Eternity…

Confesso che prima di incontrarlo mi sentivo un po’ intimidita e ansiosa: non capita tutti i giorni di poter passare un po’ di tempo con un personaggio come Frederic Malle, l'esteta visionario e innovatore che 10 anni fa creò il marchio Editions des Parfums Frederic Malle , che oggi esprime il meglio del meglio, l’assoluta eccellenza nel mondo delle fragranze. Il marchio per il quale qualsiasi compositore farebbe carte false per comporre.
