" Andy Warhol: You're in !" by Maurice Roucel for Comme des Garçons is a classic cologne (aldehydes, citrus fruits, spices, flowers, musky notes). And indeed, thanks to the infinite Mastery of Roucel, it feels crystal clear, extremely refined, and endowed with a classy, magnificent essentiality. But it also shows an originality that struck me a lot: it features an indefinable metallic quality, as cold and artificial as the smiles of the soubrette presenting the Superfamous on duty. It sounds recognizable, almost banal in its simplicity, Yet... Yet, it is weirdly original. WEIRDLY. The short pyramid reveals the clarity of intention with which Maurice Roucel wins me every time.
