Dolce q.b. (Cristian Cavagna and Arturetto Landi for Adjiumi, 2020)

When a person who has spoken, analyzed, discovered, shared perfumes for fifteen years decides to compose a project in his own name, exposing his ideas and creativity to the judgment of others, he runs a risk and knows it very well: the result must satisfy very high expectations.

I am grateful to Cristian Cavagna, beating heart and founder of the Adjiumi forum and Facebook page for taking this risk.

His "Dolce q.b. - Sweet to taste" is gorgeous. It speaks of love and joie de vivre, of optimism and strength, of courage and disarming sincerity.

Dolce q.b. is an extract, therefore powerful and diffusive.

It opens with an optimistic and sunny "boost", yet it is also proud and sly, thanks to a luscious, sour, exotic fruit that adds bite, and to a very soft leathery note perceived from the heart onwards, which counterpoints and dampens the sweetness of a perfume that wants to be, from the name itself, a hymn to kindness. The very long base notes resonate with woods and sticky resins.

Dolce q.b. was created by Cristian Cavagna in collaboration with Arturetto Landi, to celebrate the fifteen years of the Adjiumi forum; the white/red packaging is designed as if the perfume were a treat (and it is).

Congratulations!
