Che colore ha il tuo profumo?

Gran parte dei profumi che raggiungono le profumerie, oggi, nasce praticamente incolore . Per evitare che il consumatore noti il liquido trasparente e ne deduca (giustamente) che il profumo è costituito soprattutto da molecole sintetiche, si è reso necessario aggiungere una sfumatura di colore , possibilmente coerente con il concept del profumo. Fino a pochi decenni fa, l'idea che il liquido dentro il flacone dovesse comunicare qualcosa anche visivamente , non era così ovvia: la fragranza aveva un ruolo eminentemente olfattivo , e non visivo. Il colore era un attributo del vetro. Nel 1992, quando uscì Angel , il blu intenso ed innaturale del liquido spiazzò i consumatori, e ci volle qualche mese di sostegno promozionale per trasformarlo nel tratto distintivo del prodotto.  Dopo Angel, colorare il liquido divenne una tendenza sofisticata.   Most perfumes that reach shelves today are born  virtually colorless .  In order to prevent the consumer from noticing the transparent liquid and deducing (rightly) that the perfume consists mainly of synthetic molecules, it became necessary to  add a shade of colour , possibly consistent with the perfume's concept.  Until a few decades ago, the idea that the liquid inside the bottle should also communicate something  visually  was not so obvious:  the fragrance had an eminently olfactory role , not visual.  Color was an attribute of glass only.
